National Sign Plazas Gives Back for the Holidays
Local Sign Company to Donate Turkeys to Benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Cobb County
For Immediate Release – Alpharetta, GA, December 12, 2014– National Sign Plazas (NSP), a national municipal branding and directional wayfinding company with offices in Alpharetta, has partnered with the James T. Anderson Boys & Girls Club in Cobb County to provide turkeys for club members and their families this Christmas.
“This partnership with the Boys & Girls Club is consistent with our company’s mission of being an active part of the communities we serve,” said Grant Hayzlett, President of National Sign Plazas. “We’re grateful to have the opportunities and the resources to support families in need during a time of year when no child should have to do without.”
The James T. Anderson club is one of 28 Boys & Girls Clubs located in the 10 county metro Atlanta area. Since many of the families associated with the Boys & Girls Club come from homes with single parents, or grandparents raising young children, this donation will work to provide Christmas dinner to more than 50 families in need.
“The combined efforts of NSP, along with other local business are greatly appreciated and badly needed,” said Lauren Odom, Executive Director of the Cobb County Boys and Girls Club. “Through the generosity of the community, we will now be able to meet the increased demand for food and provide all of our members with the holiday resources they need.”
NSP and representatives of the Boys & Girls Club will distribute the turkeys on December 18th during the clubs’ annual Christmas party, located at 529 Manget Street in Marietta. A total of 50 turkeys will be donated to families with hopes to continue the partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs for future activities.
