ON TIME AND ON BUDGET
When Georgetown, TX awarded National Sign Plazas with the construction and installation of their wayfinding system, our expert team discovered the design provided by the city’s original designer was dysfunctional. In addition, a poorly configured breakaway system would not be allowed in the state road right-of-way.
National Sign Plazas handled the process of re-designing new signage while simultaneously working with TXDOT, the steel supplier, and other vendors to determine the complete scope of breakaway standards, the right material to fabricate the sign, and necessary design changes.
The process was completed in less than two months while maintaining the projected schedule and budget outlined at the beginning of the construction phase. Currently, the program includes (26) vehicular directionals, six pedestrian maps, (12) parking signs, and numerous city identifiers.
